The Steele County Free Fair was in its full glory Saturday with the celebrity/politician watermelon contest including special guest U.S. Senate candidate Patty Wetterling and local celebs, including County Comish Tom Shea!
Not to be outdone, Cannonball Smith made a perfect afternoon launch over two Ferris wheels with a perfect flight and landing!

The undefeated S.E. East Metro team finally lost to Elk River in the semi-final game, just 2-0. The team suffered several injuries and was depleted of defensemen due to summer camps, vacations and rush hour traffic before the final game! No problem... fall season is just around the corner...
